I am trying to write a paper for one of my classes, and am having a hard time finding information on the topic. Our prof wants us to get others philosophies of higher education and evaluate them and come up with our own. However, when I search “philosophy of higher education” all I get is info on PhD programs! So, if you are a higher ed administrator or an educator, what is your philosophy of higher education, or what is your college’s philosophy?
Also if you have any tips on where to find this information, or better ways to search, please let me know!

I’m asking about middle school/high school students. I believe that before addressing the outburst directly with the student, he or she needs some time to cool off from the anger immediately after the outburst. I’m not sure what to say or where to send the student to give him the time to cool off. Ideally I think he needs at least a few minutes kind of away from the teacher and class, but I don’t know the best place to put/send him. Read more
